I’m a big fan of Freitag. They are a swiss company who make bags, wallets and many other things out of recycled truck canvas, seat belts and bicycle inner tubes. Not only are their products extremely durable but they are helping the planet to. After trying to apply minimalism to my day bag I’ve finally got it down to 11 items. My next goal is sub-10. What don’t I need?

I can see that you are a bit of an analogue girl, but do you need a blackberry, a moleskine notebook and a moleskine diary? And that wallet looks small – why not tuck the debit card and cash in the back pocket of your moleskine notebook and ditch the diary and wallet to get to sub 10?
I love gadgets but also love analogue! I like your thinking, however I constantly scribble notes, ideas, and so on in my notebook, and don’t use my BB for a calendar hence all 3. However with the new 4G iPhone coming out this summer I may be able to do away with the diary (there you go, that’s one!) as it will sink nicely with my Mac book. Slowly getting there….
