For 11-years Manchester has held a Christmas markets in Albert Square just outside of the townhall. There are a number of off-shoots in St Ann’s square as well. It is a lovely way to spend an evening wandering around the markets shopping, eating and drinking. The market specialty is mulled wine. A warm spicy wine, and of course the hot nutella pancakes!
