“A ship is safe in the harbour – but that is not what it is built for.”
I think there are moments in life where we approach a line. That line is mediocrity, for all it’s stability, or for whatever reason. Occasionally it may taunt us and tease us with possibilities that are unsure, undetermined, unclear. And it is that murkiness that stops us from crossing the line.
So with any decision where I approach the line, I smile, I wonder, and take the step forward – because I wasn’t built for the harbour.
